章節 50: The Calm Before a Storm

Through the dragonfly's vision, Conrad found himself staring down into an unfamiliar room. It was a plain square space with nothing inside it, save for the two figures the insect lingered above. His breath hitched as his gaze settled on the first one. 

The first woman was tall and very beautiful. Even with the dragonfly's distorted perspective, Connie could still make out her appearance. 

Her waist-length hair swayed as she adjusted her stance, and the star-shaped earrings dangling from her ears sparkled faintly in the dim light. 

She also wore a low-cut outfit, coupled with her jacket and a skirt that framed her striking figure.

Connie blinked, his heart skipping a beat.

'Wow, she's a knockout…who is she?'

A few feet from her stood Daphne. The sight of that maid was enough to snap him out of his fantasies.
