With the break over and the teams resume training to prepare for the league and with the next match approaching or already almost arrived.
The next day the team had to take the bus to the stadium.
" Hey Ronaldo, are you nervous " A team mate sitting beside him on the bus
" Not really though you need to be more confident and have the mentality to win and we should be fine" Ronaldo replied
The rest of the journey was quiet, when they arrived at the stadium the stands were already half filled with spectators, who came to see the match. After stretching the teams immediately assumed their respective positions.
The match began with the opponents getting to pass first. The game began and the players immediately began to pass the ball around the field and at the 5th minute the opponent got a chance due to the mistake of a CM of Sporting Lisbon and the RW immediately took the ball before sending it to the ST who immediately dribbled the defender due to him rushing towards the attacker too early and he got dribbled he immediately moves into the 18 box and sends the ball towards the goal and although the goal keeper jumped in the right direction to save the goal, he was tad bit slow resulting in him conceding a goal. The striker immediately rushes to celebrate with his team mates while the goal with a disappointed look and tears threatening to fall from his face. The players moral was at an all time low and they feeling dejected, although Ronaldo tried to encourage them, it didn't improve their moral.The match continued and the players of sporting started making mistakes and putting in less effort believing they would lose. At the tenth Minutes the oponents ST was able to break through again and immediately he was in the eighteen box he immediately took his shot and scoring the second match of the game. The rest of the first half sporting manages to hold up and prevented the opponents from scoring.
During the break between first half and second half Ronaldo was speaking to his team mates
" What wrong with you guys, even if we are playing against strong opponents we can't give up. You think all those Pro footballers made it to where they were because they gave up? No they didn't, Now as we are going out into that field I want you guys to give your best. Since they can do this in forty-five minutes, so can we " Ronaldo said
After he finished speaking the coach came in and gave them an earful and threatening anyone not playing well with substitution.
The second half began and the sporting players started to play better and improve their confidence.
At the fifty-fifth minute Mason got the ball and immediately made a long pass to Alexis and sends a cross to the center of the box and Ronaldo jumped above his marker scoring a header.
The match resume and the score 2-1 and as the game continued the opponents( Falcons) began feeling pressured and it was difficult for them to keep up with sporting and at the Seventieth minute Mason made a pass to Alexandre who shoots the ball to the lower left corner and making the game on equal footing.
The Falcons immediately began to make clumsy mistakes after the equalizer and this cost them a goal by Ronaldo who got a pass from Alexis close to the eighteen box, Ronaldo dribbled the defender by performing a leg over and body front and moving the ball left and right getting past three defenders and Ronaldo scoring a brace.
The game continued and at the eightieth minute Ronaldo performed a cross to Alexio who scored a header and the game 4-2.
The game resumed again and at the eighty fifth minute Mason scored a shot from outside the eighteen box.
At the ninety-third minute Sporting got a corner and Ronaldo scored a header, getting an hat trick and man of the match.
