Hirvan's feet pounded against stairs, his breathing quickening with each step. His mind raced, worry dominating his every thought.

'What if they think I specifically invited Irama... and not them?!'

Hirvan grimaced. He could already imagine their expression, hurt, confusion, or worst of all, jealousy. He gripped the railing as he descended the stairs two at a time.

'I should talk to them before they see Irama…'

Hirvan suddenly paused.

'Why am I assuming they did not see him until now?!!! Damn it!'

Hirvan ran toward the private room with all of his might. He could feel the stares as he pushed past a swarm of people, murmuring hurried apologies without even looking back. Right now, all he could think about was reaching that room before any sort of confrontation happened.
