章節 49: letting go!

Ren YuZe remained still on the couch, his heart heavy with an overwhelming sadness that threatened to consume him. He clenched his fists at his sides, his nails digging into his palms, but the physical pain was nothing compared to the emotional turmoil raging inside him.

Every fibre of his being wanted to scream, to shout at his father, to demand answers for why he was abandoning them so easily. Why was he drawing this line between them as if they were nothing more than strangers? Weren't they his treasure? Didn't they bring him happiness? Had they done something wrong?

These questions swirled in Ren YuZe's mind, a chaotic storm of unspoken fears and doubts, but he couldn't bring himself to voice them. He stared at the floor, unable to meet his father's eyes, his throat tight with the words he couldn't say. 

Did he even have the right to ask?

The answer, he knew, was no.
