I really enjoyed this book but after the Euron/Kraken arc it turned to a pile of dogsh*t. Like literally it was so unique and interesting with a smart MC that really navigated the world of GOT in an gripping way but then it just did a 180 and went straight to trash with a reckless/dumb mc. I think the author just rushed to get into canon and completely forgot what he was building

5-2-2-5-2 translator did a great job to make this more palatable for readers, unfortunately the source is subpar. The story went the usual Shounen route, and didn't have that ASOIAF charm. It took Cersei's "Power is Power" line literally. I honestly like the characters, but they barely develop. Updates are fast and WB, we don't have that ASOIAF vibe, with wits and cunning nor changes in accents or languages. Just your typical weak to strong fic.
