章節 15: Chapter 15 - Preparation

The result was unsurprising. I could guess it based on my stats and MP.
After knowing my rank, I returned to the lobby and waited for business registration. While waiting, I asked the receptionist, "Was there another dungeon break happening?"
"Yes, this was the second dungeon break this month." The receptionist answered.
"I wonder what is happening…"
"But were there any civilians trapped this time as well?"
"Thankfully no civilians were trapped as the place was in a very remote area where there were no people near the area." The receptionist explained in a relieved tone.
"Moreover, the team that rushed to the area was the same team that rescued and successfully cleared the dungeon break last time." She added with a smile as if to give reassurance.
"Oh, the same team?" the information piqued my interest, as I hoped to meet and thank them as they had given me another chance in life.
"Yup, it was one of the best teams in Korea these days. Especially the leader, Ryu Hyunwoo. An A-rank dungeon break wouldn't even give him trouble, so this C-rank dungeon break would be a breeze for him."
"Ah… It was hunter Ryu Hyunwoo-sii again." So that was him, the one who had slashed the beast previously.
"Hunter Hwa Aerin."
The awakener business management called my name to register her tea shop.
I went over the counter and was served with several papers for administration. I was asked for many details regarding my shop, such as the kind of product, the buff given by it, and whether it would be only for awakeners or also for non-awakeners.
I filled everything in and gave the paper back to the worker. Thankfully they didn't ask me to demonstrate how to make the product as they knew it would jeopardize the privacy and safety of the crafter awakeners.
After they received my paper and stamped it with some approval, they told me that they would update the list of awakeners' shops in the awakeners forum to let the other awakeners know the existence of my shop.
I left the building after I got the approval letter. I need a lot of things to prepare the shop. If I want to successfully finish the quest, I need the shop to open and run in a week. So, I started to call the cleaner Aunty Jihyun had called to clean the house previously to help me clean the store. I also called the number of an interior designer Aunty Jihyun gave me before she went back to the tower.
When I arrived back home, it was quite late in the afternoon and already passed lunchtime. Because I hadn't had my lunch yet, I was just gonna have something simple and easy, which was some tuna mayo kimchi rice bowl with seaweed and cold jasmine tea.
I ate them while looking over the back courtyard. It was not too shabby but could use some more plants and flowers.
Maybe I could plant some flowers that I could use for making tea blends.
But it was an idea when I was done preparing the shop, as I was scared if I was unable to fulfill the quest.
After I was done eating, I cleaned the kitchen and dishes for a bit. While waiting for the cleaner to come, I moved to the storefront and tried to open the room to see how bad the condition was inside. When I walked into the store, I could see everything was covered in dust and cobwebs. It was not surprising as the store hadn't been operating and cleaned for around 20 years.
Not long after I was done checking, the cleaners that I had contacted arrived. I immediately directed them to clean the store. It would be great if they could finish by today.
As the cleaning process was in progress, the interior designer had also arrived. We brainstormed a lot of ideas that were suitable for the look of the house both inside and outside. So the theme of the shop was going to highlight the Hanok style of the building, and because of that, the designer was going to order several items to replace the old furniture in a suitable design.
So they ordered some new tables and chairs for customers, some bar stools, displays, and some wall shelves.
The bar area was going to be decorated with shelves. The space was also going to be used to store and display many different tea blends or tea leaves. On one side of the wall, there were big ceiling windows. So I was thinking of putting the tables and chairs around those windows, so customers could savor their tea while overlooking the small courtyard, the same back courtyard on the left-wing side of the house.
The plan for the whole interior of the store was to keep a serene atmosphere, as I planned for it to be a place for those who wanted to unwind or just relax their body and mind with a warm tea. I wanted what my mom had wished for if she was still here, which was to make people happy and relaxed while drinking or eating in the shop.
The interior team said they were going to start the remodeling process tomorrow, as for today they were only ordering the stuff and furniture that were needed. Some of the stuff that was too old was going to be disposed of and replaced.
At night, the cleaners did their job very well as they were able to finish cleaning the place in only half a day. After they were done, I went back to the house and started to eat the dinner that I had ordered. While eating, I turned on the TV, and all of the news was filled with the story of the dungeon break that had happened this afternoon.
Just like what the receptionist mentioned, the dungeon's rank was only C-rank and it was located deep in the forested area on the outskirts of Seoul, so no civilians were around it during the dungeon-forming process.
The news also mentioned Ryu Hyunwoo's team was able to clear the dungeon in record time, around half a day only. So, the press had a field day calling him one of the strongest S-rank hunters in the last decade.
Thank God, no one was harmed and it was Ryu Hyunwoo-sii again.
I wonder if I will have a chance to meet him.
As I was done eating and started to clean up the kitchen area, I also turned off the TV as it kept repeating the same information. Once I was done with everything I went to the bedroom to end the day because tomorrow there were a lot of things to do to prepare the store.
