I try to strike back, but the wolf summons a wall of ice between us. I smash through it with my spear, only for me to be met with another icicle barrage. 

I barely manage to dodge to the side and I can feel the frost biting at my skin. The wolf snarls and charges again. I'm forced to realize that I have to change my approach.

I take a deep breath and focus. 

I need to be smarter about this. 

The Frostbite Wolf has a very predictable pattern that I can easily exploit.

I wait for it to rear back and summon another ice spike, then dodge to the side and thrust my spear into its exposed flank. 

The wolf yelps, and I press the advantage, twisting the spear to maximize the damage.

The wolf tries to retaliate with another icy breath, but I'm ready this time.

I roll under the frost and come up behind it, driving my spear into its back. The wolf howls in agony, and I can see its movements slowing.
