Lin Feng simply used the same starting move faster than Bai Zhongxian and when he dodged with his boot equipment again he too used his Blood Tabi Boots, he didn't use it to dodge but to attach the guy.
His boots had an effect of producing an extraordinary force like the real Blood Beasts and Bai Zhongxian needed to used both his shield and activate his armour to defend against this attack.
The physical prowess of Blood Beasts were nothing to scoff at and his shield soon went gray leaving him with just his armour but Lin Feng did not stop, he knew the guy had more one shield he needed to take care of and kept on going until it was just the guy's armour was remaining.
It's not that he wanted to stop but his Boots too ran out of time.

It seemed like Bai Zhongxian had not achieved dual elements intermediate level like his cousin who challenged Mo Fan.
Stars of the Earth elements quickly connected as a Nebula quickly formed a Star Pattern and appeared as a shield infront of Bai Zhongxian.

Lin Feng surrounded Bai Zhongxian with the shield instead of himself, defending the attack and trapping his enemy and went on the prepare a Quagmire for his opponent and simply waited with another pre cast being ready.
It took Bai Zhongxian a few more fire spells and another equipment to break out from a tier 2 Intermediate spell and when he did Lin Feng prepared another suprise on top of the quagmire.

Bai Zhongxian was quickly blinded and his front legs were dragged forward by the second earth wave and he fell into the quagmire fully immobilized at which the teacher simply ended the game.
He had won the first rank without much difficulty and since he was the third Challenger for the first rank, there weren't anymore until a few weeks later.
