章節 13: Chapter 11
Lin Feng's life was progressing as usual he spend the majority of the twenty two days he had with the Star Dust magic tool cultivating and within the school dorms.
The rest of the time he spent at the Hunter Alliance or the Magic association building familiarising himself to the processes and other Hunters, while searching for commissions he could complete inside the city.
Although rare, he once had the good luck of being able to accept one such mission, it was to retrieve a missing infant monster with a Servant level bloodline in the city. Supposedly some rich second generation had lost the cub that was just two days ago.
Normally Lin Feng would have kept two kilometres of distance from such a task, but the fact the bloodline of the monster was just Servant level and it was just two days old encouraged him. But a Wind mage had found the beast on the second day and claimed the 150 thousand bounty. Apparantly the mage also went on to join that family's hunter group.
A few months into his second high school year he found a unicorn at the Hunter building.. figuratively.
A Two week night shift job
For a single Light Mage
Within the city
For 14000 yuan.
He couldn't wait to apply, even the receptionist was surprised to see the job being accepted seconds after being posted and introduced to Lin Feng to the job.
The job was a product of two things, the city's desire to provide some opportunities to light mages who weren't part of any hunter squads so that they wouldn't quit being a mage all the time, Light Mages were important too, they had some functions in the magic community.
The first tier of the Basic spell could cleanse darkness and some curses and poisons, the second tier spell could be used as warning sign and a beacon more safely than electronic devices when it was outside the safe zones, the third tier spell could blind opponents which was quite significant for Bo City since the magic trouble making monsters had a particular weakness to this spell One eyed Ape Rat and One eyed magic Wolf, both of which were the most common monsters around Bo City.
The second reason was that Bo City was relatively poor and couldn't afford a Light Formation for their grave yard.
