Before Xiang Yu could talk some sense into Han Xin, the man closed the distance between them and captured his lips in a kiss that crackled with electricity.

Han Xin slipped the small key for her cuffs past their lips into Yu Yu's mouth. Xiang Yu's heart raced, having realised what Han Xin was doing, but he already had the key in his clenched fist.

The fact that Han Xin was willing to risk everything just to free him made his heart stir but he couldn't allow it. He didn't want Han Xin to suffer because of him. He didn't want him to lose everything more especially after his true identity was revealed.

As the kiss deepened, he discreetly unlocked the cuffs, his fingers deftly opening the metal restraints. With a swift motion, he grabbed Han Xin's wrist and pulled him closer, sliding the open cuffs onto the man's hand and locking them in place against the wall.
