[Third person point of view]
Guardian, dubblilex, the security guards and the Doctor were outside waiting for the Kr project to open the door from the inside.
While they waited, they managed to hear movement at the door, so Guardian spoke.
"He's going to open the door, send the telepathic message to Dr. Desmond..." - Guardian said as the door was opened, but very different from what he expected to see on the other side, the Kr project did not bring with it the fainted heroes.
Instead, he saw the three heroes behind the Kr project that had opened the door unharmed.
"Yes, that could also work..." - Everyone outside managed to hear what Kid Flash said.
Then Guardian's controlled mind took a while to realize that indeed, the Kr project had betrayed them.
"Attack!!" - Guardian ordered after seeing that the Kr project was against him.
"Don't stand still! Move!!..." - Superboy told the heroes as he started running towards Dubblilex, who had stood still in his place.
He didn't push himself forward with force, which he knows would allow him to get there faster, just because he doesn't know if he can control himself and avoid tackling Dubblilex, so he simply ran at human speed.
Then all the guards a few seconds after the order began to shoot at the heroes and Superboy, although the electrified bullets did nothing to Superboy.
Then with a scream from the doctor who was in the middle, Kid Flash, Robin and Aqualad began to move. Kid Flash skillfully avoided the bullets with his super speed, overtook Superboy and approached Guardian who was trying to get in the middle of Superboy's run.
"Dude, your opponent is going to be me!" - Kid Flash said as he slowed down a little when he reached Guardian and hit him before Guardian could do anything to counterattack.
"Argh!" - Guardian was thrown back by Kid Flash's blow.
Meanwhile Aqualad and Robin had already knocked out some guards, they took advantage of the little space in the corridor to use the guards as shields, thus causing them to fall paralyzed by the electrified bullets.
The doctor on the other hand hid inside the room scared while wishing she hadn't had to be here.
Superboy on the other hand didn't take long to get to Dubblilex, then the first thing he said to him while raising his hands towards Dubblilex's collar was. - "This is going to hurt"
Dubblilex nodded in agreement with what his brother said while raising his head slightly to give him space to remove the collar.
Then Superboy grabbed the collar and when he was sure he had it well grabbed he pulled from both sides, breaking it in two, but the collar a second before Superboy separated it in two released an electric shock that made dubblilex growl and clench his teeth.
"Are you okay?" - Superboy asked as he felt some bullets hit his back, but he ignored them.
"Yes, thanks brother." - Dubblilex said grateful to his brother, since he didn't mind having to endure a small electric shock so he could be free from that inhibiting collar.
"That's good..." - Superboy nodded feeling a little weird that dubblilex called him brother as if it were nothing, but he decided to ignore it.
"Ah... A little help around here?" - Kid Flash said next to Superboy and dubblilex.
They both turned around and saw that Kid Flash had finished tying up Guardian and was trying to remove the control collar, but the collar is too hard.
"I'll handle it." - Said Dubblilex and then his horns glowed red and he used his telekinesis destroying the collar.
Noticing the looks of Kid Flash and Superboy, Dubblilex understood the reason and then explained. - "My collar is different, it was made so that I couldn't use my telekinesis to remove it by myself, Guardian's collar on the other hand is older and weaker so I can easily remove it with my telekinesis."
Kid Flash now understood while Superboy simply shrugged, he already knew that and just stared at Dubblilex simply because he didn't expect him to be that good at using his telekinesis.
Then Kid Flash freed him from his bonds, Superboy wanted to say that it's not a good idea since he doesn't know how he'll react, but these guys work more for what they think is right than for what is more logical.
Although he can't complain much since that's how he was freed too.
"Man that was easier than I thought." - Said Robin.
"Luckily we were in a narrow place." - Said Aqualad.
Then Kid Flash, Dubblilex and Superboy turned to see that Robin and Aqualad had defeated all the guards.
"Mmm? What? What happened?" - Then as they finished approaching Guardian seemed to recover, but then his expression changed now seeming like he started to remember what he did while he was being controlled. - "What have I done??..."
The heroes seemed to want to talk to him and help him, but Superboy spoke first.
"You didn't do anything, you were being controlled, so it's not time to be feeling bad, we have to go." - He said, I really don't want to be comforting a guy when they need to escape from here before someone higher up decides to send one of their strong subordinates.
Guardian remained silent as he understood, the heroes wanted to say something, but dubblilex spoke.
"My brother is right, Dr. Desmond must have already spoken to the board of directors and who knows what they must have decided to take care of all of you. So it would be best to leave as soon as possible." - Dubblilex supports what Superboy said.
"But what do we do with them?" - Kid Flash asked referring to the guards fainted on the ground.
"We can't take them. We better get out of here and you guys can contact your justice league to come help these people." - Superboy said, really not wanting to have this conversation because it won't help all those people.
"He's right, we better go and tell the league." - Aqualad said with a sigh seeming to agree with what Superboy said.
Robin and Kid Flash couldn't deny that he was certainly right, they also don't know how many more people are in the facility and it would be difficult for them to fight while carrying so many people with them.
"Well, since everyone seems to agree, then let's go." - Superboy said, of course he didn't forget about Guardian either so he asked. - "Hey, do you need help?"
"No, I can." - Guardian shook his head as he stood up a little unsteadily, but he was able to get up on his own.
"Okay, then let's go, Dubblilex leads the way to the best escape route." - Superboy said and then turned to Dubblilex who nodded and said. - "Follow me."
And then everyone started running while following Dubblilex, the three heroes stayed behind while taking care of Guardian who was running somewhat slowly while Superboy and Dubblilex went ahead leading the way.
"Men, who appointed him the leader?" - Kid Flash complained because until now he has only been listening to Superboy ordering them around as if he was the leader. He spoke quietly just so his friends would hear him, but then Superboy gave Kid Flash an annoyed look making him surprised and then remember that...
"Man, you should remember that he's Superman's clone, he must have super hearing" - Robin sighed as he told Kid Flash the obvious.
"Leader or not, we have to get out of here to communicate with the league" - Aqualad said, he really doesn't care if Superboy wanted to command and act as leader, he just wants to go and warn the league.
Kid Flash sighed and Guardian simply ignored the conversation because he had a lot to think about.
"Here, this elevator should take us to the sub-floor 1, where we can take some stairs to the 1st floor of the Cadmus building." - Dubblilex explained after reaching the elevator that the trio of heroes got off of.
"Are you sure it will be safe to go up?" - Superboy asked, as he understands going up in an elevator in situations like this is not the best option and instead it is preferable to use the stairs.
"Yes, it's safe and even if they realized it, the elevator is fast enough to take us to subfloor 1 in a short time" - Dubblilex explained, understanding his brother's concerns, but this is better than just going up the stairs.
"Well" - Superboy shrugged, now he is not just a normal human so being trapped in an elevator does not worry him so much and from what he managed to hear with his super hearing, he does not think they will let them out quietly.
But he decided not to worry about that now and he and everyone got into the elevator and pressed the button to take them to the 1st sub-floor.
