As night fell over Bloodmire, Atenzi found himself unable to sleep.

His mind filled with plans and strategies, but more than that, his body felt... strange.

Restless, as if charged with an energy he couldn't quite understand.

He paced his chambers, bare feet silent on the cold stone floor.

Every sense seemed heightened - the flicker of torchlight was almost painfully bright, the faint sounds of the castle at night a cacophony in his ears.

"What's happening to me?" he muttered, running a hand through his hair.

A soft knock at the door interrupted his thoughts.

Before the sound had even faded, Atenzi was there, opening it with a speed that surprised even him.

Báthory stood in the hallway, her eyes widening slightly at his sudden appearance. "Trouble sleeping, my champion?"
