章節 30: Chapter 30 Speed Demon
Eiji stood in front of his opponent Cheon Mune, this kid is from the second section.
His ranking in his class was above average, meaning he is at the lowest of the top 10, yet that still is an achievement in itself.
Cheon Mune calmly looked at Eiji.
He saw Eiji's first fight, he knew that Eiji had mastered the Quick Draw technique, but that doesn't mean that he is very strong, for Mune, he could see himself defeating Eiji the moment he dodges his first attack!
'A person with only a single pattern of attack! As long as you can dodge his first strike, the rest should be easy!'
Is what Mune told to himself as he watched Eiji opposite to him.
"Bow!"
Eiji and Mune bowed at the same time, but still looking at each other.
"Ready!"
Mune opened his legs and took out his wooden katana and did his stance while waiting for Eiji's attack.
Meanwhile Eiji lowered his center of gravity and as his left hand held the wooden katana's belt holder, while his right hand was slightly infront of his body, his right palm lightly opened which was about 4 inches before the wooden katana's hilt, ready to unsheath at any moment he wanted to.

At the audience area, Karma frowned at Herald as he saw his son walked towards them back.
"Herald! Why did you went that far?!"
"I..."
Herald was afraid of his father's anger and didn't know what to answer. He actually thought of an excuse but couldn't say it because of fear.
"Hey! It was just for Lime's future! This was to make her understand what she lacks and improve herself! Herald helped her see her short comings! "
And the side Neiva, His mother, defended him to which Herald hurriedly nodded his head, as if acknowledging his mother's words,
"Y- yes father! I was just trying to help her!
L-look she couldn't even evade my attacks even though she activated the future sight!"
"..."
Karma looked at him and didn't pursue the matter, he knew that the mother and son pair didn't like Lime, even the other clansmen would occasionally bully her.
Karma could only hope that Lime become stronger herself, the clan respects the strong and even if Karma sheilds her, that would be temporary, she would still be bullied behind his back without his knowledge, for him that would be more dangerous not knowing how far those people would go, unlike right now, most of the time it was just casual remarks and over training, so nothing serious apart from today had really happened to Lime.
"Herald!"
"Yes Father?!"
"Watch that kid Eiji!"
"Huh?!"
Herald was schocked at his father's words and looked at the arena. In his heart he was complaining though.
' Once again! Father talked about that orphaned bastard! What's with him?! I'll be sure to destroy him when I matched against him'
Herald looked at the arena and at that moment the teacher that was the referee said his word to start the match.
"Fight!"
*Swooooshhh!!!
*BAAANNNGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
"???"
"???"
Cheon Mune was sprawled on the ground, his nose and mouth bleeding and a few of his teeth were blown away and his eyes went at the top of his head, unconscious.
Herald and a lot of the other people in the audience didn't see what happened.
They only heard the teacher say the word 'Fight' then they saw Cheon Mune's body spin in the air for at leat 3 times and then his back was planted towards the ground as he spitted out blood.
In his face, he has a bruies mark of a straight thin horizontal line.
Without waiting for the teacher's announcement of the winner, Eiji was already walking towards the stairs, on the opposite side that he came from.
His wooden katana was already sheathed at his sword belt.
Only the high level swordsmen were able to see what happened.
And the only thing that they could say was fast!
Eiji was very fast!
The moment he was done in his Quick Draw technique stance, he vanished from his place and arrived in front of Cheon Mune and along with his momentum and force, he swung his wooden katana straight at the center of his cheeks slashing horizontally.
The force made Cheon Mune's body spin in the air, he was already unconscious the moment he was struck in the face!
"Winner! Noya Eiji!"
Eiji didn't say or do anything and just walked away, intending on going towards the hospital building beside the stadium where Lime was taken in.
