He set down the glass of water and went to the dining room to arrange the breakfast.

When Sheng Shushu finished changing her clothes and entered the dining room, Xiao Yu had returned to normal and was just taking a call by the window.

He glanced back at her, then gestured towards the breakfast, indicating she should start without him.

She hadn't planned on waiting for him; Sheng Shushu was hungry and was going to the library soon.

"What time is your appointment?" Xiao Yu asked.

Sheng Shushu thought he was asking her, so she turned to look back at him.

"I will be a bit late."

Clearly, he was talking to the person on the phone.

It seemed he had plans to go out today.

Sure enough, after he hung up the call, Xiao Yu looked at her, "Let a friend accompany you to shop for clothes; I'll pick you up after you finish in the afternoon."
