章節 95: Cum Here

Blake remembered when he had just started middle school. He attended a boarding school at the time, and their principal was short, fat, and bald.

All the students secretly called him "Shorty Water Melon" behind his back. Once, during a self-study session, the principal passed by the window.

Blake looked up, saw the principal walk by, and impulsively called out, "Shorty Water Melon."

Right after he said it, he realized that the principal was standing by the window, staring at him furiously.

The embarrassment and fear were overwhelming!

Then, the principal dragged him to the office and gave him a 40-minute lecture.

This incident left a deep impression on Blake.

Now, the situation was almost identical to that time.

Except, the short and fat principal in front of him had been replaced by Odin, the Father of the Gods.

"Well... actually..." Blake spoke nervously.

"Actually, this might be a misunderstanding. I have a twin brother named Bake You, but sadly, a meteor fell from the sky last night and killed him!"

"Oh, really?" Odin raised the Gungnir.

"Alright, alright, I admit it, it was me, it was me! But I don't think it's that big of a deal. Look, your hair and beard are all white, you're old, and your wife is probably dealing with menopause all the time, right?" Blake's nervousness made him stumble over his words.

When a big shot gets angry, another big shot is needed to calm him down. Blake desperately signaled to the Ancient One, who finally stood up to block Odin.

With an indifferent expression, the Ancient One advised, "Relax, Odin. I think Blake has a point. Look at your kids—are any of them well-behaved? If you were to have another one, I bet Hela would drive you crazy before she's even born!"

"Exactly, exactly!" Blake chimed in from behind the Ancient One.

"Shut up, you scoundrel! You not only insulted my queen, but you also cursed my entire family!" Odin's Gungnir began to glow.

The Ancient One couldn't just stand by and let this happen. She held onto Odin firmly and said with a serious expression, "Odin, about this whole 'family dying' thing, it's not exactly a curse. The fact is, your whole family dying is actually true!"

"What?" Odin was just trying to scare Blake with those two earlier sentences.

But the Ancient One's statement struck right at Odin's core.

What did he mean by "the whole family dying is actually true"?

"Old friend! I'm not joking with you this time. The reason I'm here today is because of this. I think we need to have a serious talk—about the future, about Earth, and about Asgard."

The Ancient One's expression had never been more solemn.

Before the two big shots began their formal discussion, the Ancient One opened a portal, and Odin used the Gungnir to flick Blake out of it.

The portal opened directly onto the Bifrost. Moments ago, the Bifrost was a beautiful, radiant bridge, but now a huge crack had split it in the middle.

Even the Bifrost Temple had collapsed.

At the edge of the cracked bridge sat a lonely, sorrowful figure.

The wind from the endless sea blew the cloak behind him, causing it to flutter and sway in the breeze.

"Wow"

Hearing someone speak, Thor turned around and was somewhat surprised to see Blake.

"Blake, how did you get here? Wait, no, the Bifrost was destroyed by Loki and me. How did you manage to get here? If you could come, doesn't that mean I can go to Earth? I can still see Jane!"

The big guy wasn't dumb at all. The moment he saw Blake, he immediately made the connection.

Who says love makes people foolish? It seems that depends on the person—maybe with this big guy, two negatives make a positive.

Thor's sudden excitement startled Blake.

Weren't you supposed to be mourning Loki here? So, all that posing like was because the Bifrost broke, and you couldn't go to Earth to see Jane?

Then why did you break it in the first place?

"I came with the Ancient One. She's discussing something with your father right now. Oh, by the way, I've got good news for you—Loki isn't dead. The Ancient One told your father."

"I knew it!"

Thor stood there stunned for a good ten seconds before suddenly jumping up and giving Blake a hard slap on the shoulder.

"I knew he would be fine! He's the God of Mischief, the craftiest person in Asgard. There's no way he would die so easily!"

It seemed Thor had a lot of affection for Loki, as his face was full of happy wrinkles.

However, when it came to Loki being the craftiest person in Asgard, Blake could only offer a mocking sneer internally.

Not to mention Odin and Frigga, even Heimdall, who seemed inflexible and rigid, was way ahead of Loki in this area.

Too lazy to discuss this with Thor, Blake decided to make the most of his rare visit to Asgard by asking Thor to show him around.

Knowing that Loki was alive and that he might have another chance to go to Earth and see Jane, Thor was in an excellent mood. He happily took on the role of tour guide, leading Blake around the golden palace.

After wandering around Asgard with Thor for more than an hour, they hadn't even finished exploring the area around the palace when the Ancient One and Odin summoned them back.

This time, they were in a grand and luxurious reception room.

Odin and the Ancient One sat on either side, smiling at Blake with the kind of look that parents give to their daughter's suitor.

The kind of look you'd give if your daughter were a bit of a fool and weighed 250 pounds.

Blake felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end.

Those two old foxes were smiling like blooming chrysanthemums. Nothing good could come of this.

Instinctively, Blake took a step back and asked cautiously, "What are you two planning?"

Odin, with a kind expression, waved him over.

"Come here, child!"

"Nope! If you have something to say, just say it now. Also, stop calling me 'child.' People you've called 'child' never end well. Call me anything else, even a scoundrel, but don't call me 'child!'"

Blake flatly refused. Just a moment ago, Odin had been wielding the Gungnir, sweeping him away. This sudden change of attitude couldn't be a good sign.

Odin's face twitched with frustration, but the Ancient One smoothly took over the conversation.

"If you don't trust Odin, surely you trust me. Come here, I promise it's something good!"

The Ancient One smiled warmly.

But Blake wasn't about to fall for it. To him, these two were practically nuclear-level figures, so there was no way he would give in so easily.

"No way. You two are smiling like a brothel owner and a madam tricking innocent girls into the trade. I'm not falling for that!"

Blake shook his head like a rattle.

The next moment, Odin raised the Gungnir, and the Ancient One's hands began to glow with golden light.

"Alright, alright! Let's talk this through, no need to get violent!" Blake hurriedly ran over with a nervous grin.

Instantly, both Odin and the Ancient One dispelled their magic and weapons, switching back to their cheerful "chrysanthemum faces."

The Ancient One smiled at Blake and said, "You've taken good care of Thor on Earth, and Odin has decided to properly thank you. So, he's offering you the chance to go into his treasure vault and choose any item you like!"
