Sabrina stepped into the Golden Lotus restaurant, feeling a hint of nervousness. She hadn't planned to see Alex outside of the meetings related to their arrangement, but lately it seemed like they kept doing things unrelated to their arrangement- like moving into his apartment.

And it didn't make much sense to her that Alex who had been so arrogant at the initial stage was the same person who had been relentless in convincing her to move into his place, making it clear he wouldn't take no for an answer.

She scanned the room, quickly spotting him at a table in a distant corner, casually sipping from a glass of wine as he waited.

When Alex noticed her approaching, a warm smile broke out on his face, and he immediately stood up, setting down his glass. As she reached the table, he pulled out her chair with a certain practiced ease.
