"What did you think? You're my favorite player. You're an asshole, man."

"Me?"

"Whoo-hoo! Fanfar!" Vena called out. "They say you're going to blame me."

"Dude, that boy is asleep standing up," Chrono said.

The conference room was filled with whispers. Fanfar stared at an empty seat. It fell to Kiti, who had just entered the hall, to end it.

"Psst, Fanfar!"

Fanfar could have sworn he never blinked. But when he heard Kiti's voice, the ghost boy was gone. Still, Kiti held him by the shoulders and shook him.

"Wake up!"

"What makes you think I was asleep?" Fanfar asked, frowning.

"Your eyes were closed and you were swaying like a branch," Kiti said.

"Maybe," Fanfar said unperturbed, and sat in an empty chair.

Jazz on the dais announced, "Prosecution, stand up!"

Fanfar pointed to himself. "Am I the prosecutor?"

"Yes, you," Jazz said and pointed to the podium. "Come here and make your accusation."
