'What is that?' Anna thought as she suddenly stopped, fascinated by the strange scene.
It wasn't the statue itself that intrigued her, but the transparent spheres with tiny wings that floated around it.
They moved with impossible lightness, as if unaffected by the wind or gravity.
Squinting, she tried to catch more details while the lights from the spheres emitted soft glimmers that, curiously, seemed visible only to her. Her friends didn't seem as puzzled as she was.
"What's up, Anna?" David asked, noticing she had stopped walking with the group.
"Why'd you stop?" added Edrick, raising an eyebrow. His tone was curious, but a bit impatient.
Anna turned her head and looked at all of them before glancing back at the statue. Her curiosity was only growing, and she wanted to get closer.
"It's... that statue. I want to take a closer look," Anna said, pointing vaguely in its direction.
