Claire leaped and winced in pain. She tried running after Joshua but was injured after she fell due to the explosion.

Everyone ran fast, and Claire struggled to catch up. They concentrated on their survival, oblivious to Claire's absence. When Joshua reached the car, he realised she wasn't there.

"What about Claire?" He panicked, looking around. "Oh—" He sighed, seeing as she was struggling to walk towards them. "Get into the car. I will go get her." Joshua ran towards her in a hurry.

His eyes searched around the woods, trying to make sure that they were still safe.

"Can you manage to walk, or do you need my help?" Joshua questioned Claire. Claire was clearly in pain, but she didn't want to let her pride down at the same time. "It seems like you don't need my help." He wanted to walk away, leaving her alone.
