章節 7: The hashira meets special grades
About week had passed since Giyu killed semi grade 2 curse spirit. The higher ups of jujutsu world after knowing of this four element curse technique and seeing his skills made him in special grade .
Giyu didn't mind it but he knew from Gojo the system was heavily influenced by zenin clan and the ones that holds special grade are not there because of the strength but to make sure they know that these are dangerous ones.
Giyu asked why not chang this since he is Strongest and have a better one that discribe they ability not there potential power and danger.
Gojo just smiled and said this is not that simple and he can't do things alone and need strong allies to influence jujutsu world .
That was the reason he became teacher so he can train new generation of sorcerers that can influence and change this system with him .
Giyu remembered once master ubuyashiki said to all hashira"my children, always remember that you hold the title of hashira not because you are the strongest but also because you are the pillars that support the Demon slayer corps , so that future generations can nuture and support corps in future to protect people . Remember that being hasihra doesn't mean being strongest but it means being the pillar to support future."
Giyu then said to Gojo that " So you want to be a pillar that support future generation not the Jujutsu society and want your students to do the same in future . Then , I guess I will be your hasihra to support the future generation ."
Gojo chuckled " Me a pillar huh ? But least its a better then special grade , I like it .
I guess , I will let be you be my hashira for supporting the future sorcerers generation " gojo said with smug look to giyu but he was little satisfied with he took right choice for changing jujutsu society . He already had one ally for better future . 'my hashira huh , it nice title you gave yourself,it suits your personality well '
Today -
They were walking in hallway when gojo asked " So ,they made you a special grade as well " Giyu answer with a nod .
" Well I guess there are now four special grade now " Giyu got curious about other special grades so he asked "who other special grade?" .
Gojo stopped and said " well , let's start with the one that is currently in school as your teacher me , Gojo satoru . Second one is Yuki tsukumo. Last one was my best friend , Geto suguru, he went rogue . He possesses curse manipulation technique . But he is very strong in hand to hand combat to ." Gojo was little sad after mentioning about geto but wore the smile on his foce not to show it but giyu could see . After all he was partner with shinobu kocho the woman that always wore that mask to dilude other but giyu could always see it because he knew difference in real and fake was .
" By the Yuki San is currently here for some business that i don't know , wanna meet her ?" Gojo asked giyu waiting for answer ,Giyu simply nodded .
Gojo after getting yes simply teleported giyu with him to principal yaga office . There was kusakabe in office with principal and Yuki . "Yuki San long time no see, how is going on every thing ." Gojo said to Yuki . Principal yaga was angry because of gojo intrusion but he calm himself and said " Gojo good I was going to call you but what giyu doing here ? Have they decided his grade . " While looking at giyu . Yuki ce forward and said to giyu " hello what kind of girls you like ? and by the way I am Yuki tsukumo . "
This was Yuki's tipical question that she asked very person she meet . But giyu first thought and said " the one that can tell me my flaw at straight face " . Gojo was little surprised he didn't thought giyu one of who will answer the question but then again he could empty minded to for such things .
" This is my student Giyu fushiguro . New special grade " the last part made little surprising situation for Yuki and kusakabe they didn't knew . Giyu then asked to Yuki that surprised gojo more,"Yuki San can I have one of your ? " . 'this boy keep throwing bombs at me tody ,first answering the question know her hair .' gojo thought then asked himin childish manner "why you want Yuki San hair my dear giyu chan?"
"It's hobby , I like to collect natural different colours hair . " Giyu said like it was not some big deal "so why never asked for mine then ?" Making a sad .
" because already got white when from you pay attention I pucked them when you took Megumi to zenin clan without my permission" said without an ounce of emotion and Gojo made annoyed face .
Yuki laughed at seen and gave giyu her hair " you are boy even though you don't show emotion, here my hair , oh! By the way gojo there a special case , yaga San will fill and bye you all" then she left .
Gojo then looked at principal and asked "so what was for you wanted to see me ?" .
" There is case of a boy being boy cursed by special grade vengeful curse spirit , there was incident where his classmates were heavily injured and stuffed in locker. Boy name yuta okkotsu. He possesses very high amount of curse energy that we have seen till now in any sorcerer. You are asked to excorsice this curse by higher up ,so kusakabe will fill in for you. " Principal yaga said to to Gojo .
" Oh ! I guess than that can't be helped ,well Giyu take kusakabe to class and introduced him to them ,see you soon. " And gojo simple teleported . Then Giyu looked at kusakabe and said "kusakabe San let's go , thanks and sorry for sudden intrusion principal sir ." And left the room with kusakabe.
While they were walking when kusakabe tried to make a small talk with Giyu to break the Ice "so you are new special grade "
Giyu just nodded . Then kusakabe said "you know its not good not giving proper answer to teacher ." He least wanted to sent respected relationship with one special grade , Yuki and Gojo were to free minded and didn't care for such things . So good relationship with one special grade was good thing while he was in school.
" I am told that I hurt people feeling unintentionally that I meet first time. So like to talk less till I am not well acquainted with. "Giyu said trying to explain , not explaining things was resulted in bad relationship with hashiras in past life , so he tried to explain to everyone that thought he well be seeing for every day this time . He said same to maki panda and inumaki too . Inumaki and panda were cool with it from start and didn't judge but he maki was little little annoyed from his small answer so that explaination do well to him.
Kusakabe was ok with it since he seems polite as special grade . So little rash early warning wash good for him if he knew they were not intended .
They reached the class and entered in .
Maki, inumaki and panda were standing talking something but then she punched at head . Kusakabe then made little mouse for gathering attention . " Gojo is on a mission tk exorcise special grade so I will be taking your class till ,he comes back , I am kusakabe atsuya grade 1 sorcerer . Take your seats ."
They all took seats , then kusakabe continued "I am not that good at class in teaching so let's go to training ground I will test your combat abilities ."
Those three thought ' thenwhy made us sit should have simply said to go to the training ground' in unison .
It was inumaki against panda and then against maki who win inbetween them .this was he decided to fight giyu himself since special grade are usually too strong to put against first years and giyu was strong that was clear to anyone who is good fighter , it showed in every way he carried himself they was no opening to strike .
In the end it was maki clear winner against panda . She was every skilled In fighting but he made little wasteful movement that was clear so kusakabe suggested to not make to wasteful movement and strike the best way that your instincts tell you ,giyu didn't argue because instincts are most time right and for someone like maki with hightened sense the chances are more than 90 % . He told inumaki to do better training in hand to hand combat since cost of his curse technique using high . And said to panda to be little serious and don't care about hurting they take care at school .
Then was match for Giyu and kusakabe .
He to stance and waited for Giyu to strike . His water breathing and flame breathing mastery was full but sun breathing mastery was needed for kyojuro resurrection. So Giyu took sun breathing stance because using them in battle helps more easily. He used 11 form by using footwork and afterimage to make an opening .

Kusakabe was forced to use simple domain to pin real giyu in afterimages . Kusakabe made strike on real giyu in afterimages .the temperature around him was raising rapidly and giyu was little uncomfortable with using it but used for mastering it but then decide to use another attack when he didn't get his opening .
Kusakabe saw giyu using different attacked he launched his on first while expanding his simple domain range .

This stopped giyu's upcoming strike but was not able to attack him . This continued for some time . Giyu understood that he was not going to win with sun breathing with small amount of mastery and Transparent World was also difficult to maintain ,so he decided to change back to water breathing and thought 'I will first try to master Sun breathing to 50 % before trying to it in real battle other wise it will not be helpful ' .
From other three prospective this was a battle instead of combat training . Maki was amazed by the displayed the skill that she needed to become the grade 1 sorcerer .
Panda and inumaki were not able to follow the attackes, the speed to fast for them . Giyu then took few steps back while changing to water breathing meanwhile kusakabe thought ' I can't win if I this keep going on like this , I need to use constant strike to win '.
With[ transparent world] Giyu understood that next the he was going to do will not be stopped with his current reflexes . so he decided to use simple domain with water breathing eleventh form to counter his next attack . They both used there moves at se time .

Kusakabe after seeing giyu using simple domain said " damn geniuses" , they both were master of there sword styles and none was backing down . The movement was not even visible to see the strike clashing with Giyu defence technique .
In middle of clash both wooden swords broke and they were left at stalemate . kusakabe decided to use this as to end it , he was not much fan of such big battles like training . Kusakabe said"I guess this match is tie." Giyu also needed to rest , it was visible that he was panting and it was results of using , transparent world and Sun breathing together , so he needed to end this too , so Giyu said "I agree " .
Kasukabe said " I now what all your weakness are and know will work toward that , panda and inumaki will train in hand to hand together also pick a martial arts style to make your strike more effective , Maki , you have great skill and reflexes but make wasteful movement in attacked , you will train with Giyu and he is pretty much good in every thing but lack in use of curse energy use efficiently in middle of battle you train that with me .
Few minutes after rest giyu went to maki .
She then looked at him and said " so what do you need or you want to start the training ?" , Giyu sat down and said "Gojo asked me to teach my sword technique to you " . The intrested her she liked the sword style he used and was interested in learning it but asking someone to teach it was not simple maybe gojo knew that and asked him.
" So are going to ?" Maki asked with little hope . Giyu was not some one who was good at teaching so he wrote it down on book how to learn breathing style and all other up to her to learn , all he could was give pointers , So he said "No ". this dispointed her little but then took out at bot and her and said " I am not good teacher I can only give you pointers on breathing style but how to incorporate it into your fighting skill is up to you but I can do something about your problem that kusakabe San pointed but will take some preprations . " Maki was not expecting this after hearing no because she thought everyone want keep there secret in jujutsu world . She was also curious about what was breathing style ? How breathing going help her in battle ? So she asked "what is breathing style?"
Giyu took few minutes before answering because vague explanation that he gojo was not going to do anything here ." Breathing style is ways of inhaling maximum amount of oxygen and increasing its blood . Blood care more oxygen and it increases stamina and endurance ,it also help in increasing the focus and concentration in fight . breathing technique is called total concentration technique. And breathing style is way of using sword while mimicking the elements like wind , water , fire and thunder . "
The didn't properly understood but she saw him use it so didn't asked any questions. Then she took a look at what he gave her in book .
Wind Breathing is a Breathing Style that mimics wind, specifically powerful torrents of air and whirlwinds, and replicates it with the user's movements, techniques and abilities. Most, if not all, known techniques and forms involve purely offensive attacks, most of which utilizing fast rotating movements to generate swift whirlwind-like slashes that greatly increase the wielder's striking range as well as utilizing the air around them to deliver sharp sickle-shaped flying slash attacks and gale force winds. Users of Wind Breathing also visualize themselves seemingly creating and manipulating wind when unleashing its techniques.
This Breathing Style is also extremely reminiscent of the real life swordsmanship style, Jigen-ryū, a sword wielding style that emphasizes on the opening strike and high stances.
" That wind breathing , its beat fit with your abilities . But you can make your own style after you learn it . Like I made different ones . " Giyu explained her .
Then there were it forms and how to perform them they were vague explanation but giyu said he will give pointers if she was doing wrong .
Wind Breathing has a minimum of 9 known techniques and forms.
First Form: Dust Whirlwind Cutter - The user dashes forward at blinding speeds and slashes continuously in a horizontal cyclone pattern.
Second Form: Claws-Purifying Wind -The user lifts the sword upwards towards the right, above their head and unleashes four vertical slashes at once down on the enemy resembling claws.
Third Form: Clear Storm Wind Tree - The user unleashes a whirlwind of slashes around their body that can defend them from incoming attacks and slice up their surroundings.
Fourth Form: Rising Dust Strom - The user releases several whirlwind slashes above them from below their target.
Fifth Form: Cold Mountain Wind - The user creates several circular arched slashes that increase in size from above their target.
Sixth Form: Black Wind Mountain Mist - The user rotates their body in an uppercut movement, creating an arcing slash.
Seventh Form: Gale, Sudden Gusts - The user leaps into the air while swinging their blade which generates gale-force winds to shred their opponent apart.
Eighth Form: Primary Gale Slash - The user leaps into the air and swings their blade which generates circular torrents of wind that slices up the opponent instantly.
Ninth Form: Idaten Typhoon - The user backflips into the air and while upside-down, unleashes a powerful gust of circular wind that slashes apart anything below.
After they went to training and Maki very happy to have a great sword fighting style , she did saw giyu use it but new it was strong enough that he it could create wind Slash in while using it ,means it was strong .
That weakened giyu went back home to meet his brother Megumi and check on him . while Gojo came from his mission and they will be getting a new transfer student .
