In the office of a large breeding base in the Land of Demons.
Konan handed a form to Shishou and said, "You have about fifty thousand pigs in these super-large breeding farms across the Land of Demons."
"You can slaughter around five thousand pigs from each farm, totaling about twenty thousand pigs."
"If you exceed this number, it will cause the farms to lose money, breaking the sustainable cycle we've established."
"Of course, you could also slaughter all but the breeding pigs, but that would set back the progress we've made, requiring a lot of time and money to reach this scale again."
Hearing this, Shishou shook his head and said, "No need. Let's stick with twenty thousand pigs; the rest can be sold normally."
The energy from twenty thousand pigs should be enough to cultivate sufficient Otsutsuki cells to awaken Hyuga Rimei's Tenseigan.
Moreover, his breeding bases in the Land of Lightning and the Land of Water were about to start production and would need piglets from the Land of Demons. Killing all the pigs would only slow down the development of his breeding business.
"Alright, I'll have my clones take you there," Konan said, creating several paper clones.
Seeing this, Shishou also created over twenty clones, each carrying chakra bugs, to follow Konan's clones to the slaughter.
As the clones left, Konan turned around to see Shishou staring at her, causing her to purse her lips.
"Why are you looking at me like that?"
Shishou smiled and said, "Because you're beautiful, Konan."
Konan pouted, "Smooth talker."
Shishou chuckled and continued, "Konan, do you have any plans for the future?"
Konan gave him a curious look, "What do you mean?"
Shishou elaborated, "Your future plans, goals, dreams, that sort of thing."
Konan looked at him expressionlessly and said, "My dream is world peace."
Shishou pressed further, "Is there nothing else you want to do?"
"No," Konan replied firmly.
Hearing this, Shishou sighed.
Although Konan no longer guarded herself against him, she also didn't seem to hold him in any special regard. Winning her over would require another approach.
However, Konan was indifferent and had no desires.
Apart from caring about Nagato, her only goal was to pursue peace.
This left Shishou unsure of how to build a closer relationship with her.
Silently, Shishou stared at Konan.
Konan also stared at Shishou, her expression calm.
For a moment, the office was so quiet that a pin drop could be heard as they looked at each other.
After some thought, Shishou asked with a smile, "I heard you liked Yahiko?"
Konan's face changed dramatically, turning cold, "That's none of your business."
Then, as if recalling something, she looked seriously at Shishou, "How do you know that name?"
The name Yahiko was known only to deceased members of the Akatsuki organization, and very few others.
Seeing Konan's change in expression, Shishou smiled.
Now that she showed some emotion, he could seize the opportunity.
He pointed to his eyes and smiled, "I saw it!"
Konan frowned, looking puzzled, "What do you mean by that?"
Shishou stood up, smiling at Konan, "I once had a prophetic dream about the ninja world. I saw some events that occurred."
"In that dream, I saw the tragic lives of you, Yahiko, and Nagato."
"That's how I know Yahiko's name and that you and Nagato are hiding in the Rain Village."
Tragic lives...
Konan was momentarily stunned, then looked at Shishou coldly, "I don't believe you!"
Shishou laughed and said, "How about we make a bet?"
"If you win, I'll do something for you."
"If I win, you do something for me."
Konan glanced at Shishou and said, "I'm not a naive child. If you're willing to bet, you must be certain you'll win."
"So why should I bet with you?"
After speaking, she gave Shishou a deep look as if to say, "Do I look like a three-year-old?"
Hearing Konan's words, Shishou froze.
Once, a child in his late fifties confidently agreed to a bet and was tricked into becoming his wife...
Recalling how Konan had seen through his plan to obtain the Four-Tails and Five-Tails,
Shishou felt a headache coming on.
Why is Konan so smart? Wouldn't it be better if she were a little foolish...
Shishou then said, "Aren't you curious how I know Yahiko's name?"
Konan sat down, expressionless, "Your family is powerful. Investigating Akatsuki's history wouldn't be difficult."
Shishou looked at her, "You really don't believe me?"
"Hmph!"
Konan snorted coldly, "You need to provide solid evidence."
"And saying Nagato and I will have tragic lives... Nagato is very powerful now. Who would dare make us suffer, apart from you?"
Hearing this, Shishou raised an eyebrow and named someone.
"Jiraiya!"
Konan's breath hitched, looking at Shishou in surprise.
She hadn't expected him to mention that name.
Seeing her reaction, Shishou continued, "You, Yahiko, and Nagato once followed Jiraiya for a while."
"And Jiraiya taught you some basic ninjutsu."
Hearing this, Konan was stunned, "How do you know about our relationship with Jiraiya?"
The relationship between Jiraiya and the three of them was known only to the four of them.
Once again pointing to his eyes, Shishou smiled, "I told you, I saw it."
"But you don't believe me, so what can I do?"
Konan pursed her lips, "Maybe you heard it from Jiraiya."
"Anyone who believes in prophecies is a fool!"
Seeing Konan's continued disbelief, Shishou smiled and walked towards her.
"What are you doing!"
Seeing Shishou approach, Konan looked wary, thinking he might be angry.
Standing beside her, Shishou said, "If you trust I won't harm you, give me your hand."
"I want to show you something."
Then, Shishou extended his hand to Konan.
Seeing his gesture, Konan pursed her lips.
If Shishou really wanted to harm her, he wouldn't have waited until now.
And she did want to see how Shishou intended to convince her.
Thinking this, Konan muttered, "I bet you just want to take advantage of me."
Then, she extended her long, slender right hand to Shishou.
"Let you have your way this time."
