Twyla closed the second clasp over her shoulder and nodded at Bastian. He offered his hands to Raven and Twyla and they took it. Morpheus put his hand on Bastian's chest and Bastian stumbled.

"Okay, not the chest anymore," Bastian rasped.

Morpheus whined and flattened his ears. He looked at Twyla expectantly who cuddled him. He was trying his best.

"How about you put a hand on him and I put my hand on your chest?" Twyla offered.

"That makes more sense," Raven agreed. "You're tiny."

"Thanks," Twyla mumbled, narrowing her eyes. She guided Bastian's hand onto Morpheus and scratched his ears. His tongue lolled out earning him a laugh from Raven.

"Alright, everyone ready?" Bastian asked. With everyone touching a part of the Vampire King, they vanished in a wreath of his shadows.
