"We, shifter, aged differently, honey…" Lucien kissed both of her eyes so she could stop glaring at him. "We can live for centuries."

"Are you serious?"

"Do I look like I make a joke to you?"

Hope couldn't answer that, but then came another random problem that crossed her mind. "If you live that long… did you live alone?"

Lucien tilted his head. "I live with my pack member."

Hope looked frustrated. That was not what she wanted to ask about. "Oh, right…" However, she couldn't bring the topic.

'He lives for more than a century and with his skills in bed, there is no way I am his first, right? How many women before me?'

Hope knew it was ridiculous, because no matter how many women Lucien had before her, all of them were in the past and it happened before he met with her.

But still, she couldn't get over this nagging feeling inside of her.
