"What crap are you spewing! How can you accuse me like that?" Jacob snapped at her skeptical remarks.
Susan shrugged his comments, her eyes suspiciously lingering over his seething face, and remarked, "I merely stated because you are acting strange"
Jacob's chest heaved with the force of her questioning look, and he spat, "I'm not acting strange. I just don't see why they keep calling us when we already have our statements."
Susan sighed helplessly and stood up. "Let's go and give another. It won't cost us anything, and we'll get to meet Tiffany," she stated as she turned to walk to the bathroom.
Jacob, who had been talking deep breaths, felt his heart leap out of his chest. He had no idea how readily he lost his composure, to the point where Susan became intrigued by his behaviour.
'I should be cautious in front of Susan. This placid woman of mine has suddenly become hostile," he thought to himself before gradually calming down.
