Hades left the Dark Realm for the third time. During this visit, he had discussed a lot. With some contemplation and calculations, he could figure out most of it.
However, this was unnecessary. From Hades' perspective, it was meaningless. As he always said, Erebus and Nyx had no reason to harm him. If they wanted to do something to him, they wouldn't have waited until now. When it was time to know, he would naturally know.
Hades left the Dark Realm and returned to the Underworld. The Underworld, on the whole, was similar to the Netherworld and the Abyss. They were all part of the same series. From the outside, it was easy to mix them up, as they were very similar.
Hades stood still for a moment before blending into the shadows, donning the Cloak of Invisibility, and set off to find the fourth World Chain.
As for everything else? For now, whether it was the Origin Stones or anything else, they didn't hold much significance for him. Finding the World Chains had the highest yield.
The World Chains and Demon Stars were a perfect match. Together, they could maximize the sealing laws of the Demon Stars, which was most important to Hades.
Of course, this was already the fourth time. After finding the World Chains of Heaven, Stars, and Sea, he had enough experience to easily locate the fourth World Chain.
The Underworld World Chain.
This chain was sealed in the Underworld. To say that Tartarus, the primordial god, didn't know about it would be a joke. He definitely knew.
To be precise, this was the Underworld! This was his territory, his body. Whatever you did, he knew. But Tartarus didn't care.
Compared to other primordial gods, Tartarus had a more indifferent attitude towards these matters.
Truth be told!
If investments were made appropriately, Uranus, as the first God-King and God of the Sky, should have chosen Zeus. But as a God-King, he couldn't invest in another God-King.
Pontus chose Poseidon, which was reasonable. Tartarus should have chosen Hades, but it was Erebus and Nyx who did.
Tartarus didn't make any investment. He remained in slumber, seemingly waiting for something. This was the most peculiar. Other primordial gods found Tartarus's behavior odd.
However, Hades could guess what Tartarus intended to do. Whether Tartarus would succeed was uncertain. While contemplating Tartarus, Hades devoured the fourth World Chain of the Underworld.
This time, it took even less time, just a few hundred years. With the fourth World Chain devoured, the Demon Star underwent another upgrade.
"Only one World Chain left," Hades whispered softly. "The Earth World Chain, in a unique location. Though there's no current opportunity, theoretically, that will be the best time."
Hades wasn't in a hurry to find the Earth World Chain. To be honest, the Chains of Heaven, Sea, Underworld, and Stars were inconsequential. The Earth was the most unique.
Gaia's position was too special. With her unique status, the Earth held a special place. This was Gaia's influence.
That's why Hades had entered the Earth countless times but never sought the final Earth World Chain. Gaia's uniqueness meant randomly searching could have unpredictable results!
Gaia cherished her son, Cronus. Though Hades was her grandson, he aimed to overthrow her son. It was fortunate she wasn't intervening in the Titan War.
If he recklessly sought trouble? Who knows! She might come and kill him. So, some things shouldn't be overdone.
After acquiring the fourth World Chain, Hades quietly sensed something. Over time, the entire Underworld seemed to respond to his perception. Centuries passed, millennia passed.
Time flowed like water, quietly passing by. Hades slowly opened his eyes and walked towards a special place deep in the Underworld.
Raising his hand, a barrier appeared, and he stepped inside. Before him floated a divine stone and countless rare treasures and divine items.
"What is this…"
Hades was puzzled. He could understand Tartarus's Origin Stone being here, but why were there so many rare treasures and divine items?
Was this Tartarus's treasury? But it didn't make sense! It wasn't logical. For primordial gods, these were useless.
Primordial gods' true useful items, be it divine items or artifacts, couldn't be nurtured in the mythological world. Like the Absolute God, who wasn't interested in anything within the mythological world they created.
Everything was created by them. How could it be useful to them? It's the same logic. Primordial gods are creators. Only items born from the Chaos Sea that fell here might be valuable.
However!
Although Hades understood this, before him lay countless divine items, many precious ones, which seemed too extraordinary.
But!
Hades didn't care much. It didn't matter. Releasing 108 Demon Stars, he began frantically collecting all divine items and treasures. Who cared? Passing by a treasury without taking anything? Don't be ridiculous! That was impossible.
Hades didn't have that habit. If he saw it, it was his. As for Tartarus causing trouble? Highly unlikely!
