章節 29: Millennium Eye Acquired
As Pegasus goes down in the "I just lost a duel pose" the darkness surrounding both me and Pegasus starts to fade as Pegasus holds his head in pain. The Millennium Eye continuously flashes it seemingly rips itself out of Pegasus's head and reappears into my hand, after of which the darkness of the shadow game disappears fully showing the spectators the arena.
Croquet after seeing the sight of Pegasus on the floor proceeds. "The winner of the final duel is Riku Yulunger which means that he wins Duelist Kingdom and gains 3,000,000 dollars!"
'Well that was almost very bad I almost lost. but now I've almost got everything I need even though I probably won't need to challenge Pegasus again.' Yugi and the rest of his friends come down from the spectator area. "Riku that was amazing you beat Pegasus!"
"I told you that I would! He got destroyed even with his overpowered Toon cards." Joey comes up to me nervously. "Hey I heard that Yugi told you about Serenity and her surgery so I need to ask you to-"
"Joey its fine I'll pay for her surgery so stop acting like a scared puppy and if your going to ask me for something atleast come out from behind Tea!"
As Joey sighs in relief then starts to yell in my direction about not being a dog or something I look over towards Pegasus only to see that he's already gotten up and is coming over to our direction with Yugi going towards him, I assume to ask about his grampa and everyone else he's taken the soul of.
'Now all I've got to do is go to Mai and call off the plan since I already have the Millennium Eye and I don't really need Pegasus for anything else.Though I might warn him about Zorc though now that I think about it Zorc will probably come after me since I'm the one that has the Millennium Eye... Shit I've got to get off of this island.'
"Alright Joey your not a dog just stop barking in my ears, I've got to go I need to collect my stuff." Leaving Joey, Tea and Tristan I go up to the rafters towards the direction that Mai was in before the shadow game started.
"Mai! Hey I'm calling it off I've already gotten everything I needed off of Pegasus." Mai looks in my direction exasperatedly. "If you were going to get everything you needed from a duel then why did you even come to me!"
"My bad I'm sorry I'm indecisive plus I didn't know how everything was going to go down while I've got superpowers during duels I can't see the future." Mai sighs. "Your still going to do your spirit mojo on my cards for all the stress your put on me."
"Fine Mai but just to tell you I need you to help get me of the island since I might have a ancient spirit that's powerful enough to only be sealed by a Millennium Item."
"What??? You know what I'm going to pretend I never heard that and I'm just having you leave with me out of good will."
"Thank you!" Mai once again sighs as I follow her out of the castle.
POV [Bakura Ryou?]
'My target escapes out of the castle before I could challenge him because I got stuck with these children. The shadow game was easy for me to see as that broken man was too crude in his use in the Millennium Eye unlike his opponent. That Riku child he while inexperienced in the use of Ba and Ka he was able to sense others Ba and even malipulate it to a certain extent, though one thing about him is familiar is it his last name? Yulunger?.'
'Ugh the Bakure brat is waking up I'll have to hunt the child after he gets us off this damn island.'
3 Weeks Later
"Are you going to leave my apartment anytime soon!" Mai is yelling into my direction. "I already told you I'm not going back to my house for a while! I'm not going to get my soul taken by an ancient spirit god just because you have an attitude!"
I've been with Mai for a since we left Duelist Kingdom since I refused to leave after realizing that Zorc would be after my Millennium Eye. "Plus I've been awakening your cards and teaching you how to manipulate Ba everyday the least you could do is let me stay for awhile!"
"Just cause I told you that you could stay doesn't mean that you can do whatever you want in my house!"
"Well excuse me! I had to clean everything here since you live like a rat and I've been cooking since you can't even make a cup of ramen. I would've expected you to atleast have some life skills other than how to seduce guys and get information on people!"
'Over these weeks me and Mai have been living together since she's almost completely off the grid with her only being connected to a couple af apartments and a couple of flights since she moves and travels around the world decently often. I'm pretty worried about my uncle but Zorc can't kill people to willy nilly since were no longer on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere.'
"Anyway Mai do you wanna come with me somewhere? I've got this really cool spot that sells cards and I'm pretty sure they just came out with some new winged beast packs."
