The news of his ailment devastated his two kids, and the man in question was also dumbfounded when Iris mentioned what was wrong with him in one breath. It came as a huge shock, and he wanted to ask how she found out, but Caleb Bowman felt that it would only prolong matters and make them drag the issue unnecessarily.
