Lucy's eyes widened. She had hidden her crush properly. She had never talked about Jamie in the class or followed him to his section.

They only met outside on weekends. He was a sportsman and Lucy had joined the cheerleading team just to stay around her. Even if someone sees them together, they would not think much about it.

"What nonsense are you spouting? I have not.." she stopped mid way. What if Nora knows nothing and only guesses. If she would admit, she would fall into her trap. She glared at Nora as she stopped abruptly. The room was doing a trick on her mind. It looked scary at that moment. 

Nora only smiled with pity in her eyes.

"You have not confessed to him yet. But what if he knew that you like him? What if he is using you?" she asked softly as she took a step closer to Lucy. Lucy instinctively took a step back but when she realized what she did, her eyes dripped venom. She squared her shoulders to face Nora.
