"..." Sophia's smile stiffened when Alex only passed her one indifferent glance and then looked at the door again. She did not qualify to talk to him. Her fury filled her heart again. She had a stomach full of anger already by losing and now a child was throwing her a tantrum.

But she did not say anything. She just looked at his face again and sighed like a disappointed elder and left from there. She did not go to meet Penny but left in her car.

Nora was the next to come out. Sobs filled the hall when the door was opened again. Alex stiffened but when he noticed Nora standing there, he just frowned. 

"Why are you here?" Nora was not expecting him to wait for her. If it had been Victor she would have still understood.

"We had a debt." he looked at her wounds. "Now it is settled."
