Penny went straight to the dining room, where she was told she would find her beloved. Her steps halted at the entrance, her eyes landing on the man placing a plate in front of him while carrying another.

The table was set with a candlelit arrangement, giving a romantic vibe to the dinner he was preparing. A smile tugged at the corner of her lips as she leaned against the jamb with her arms crossed. Penny just watched him set up the table until he lifted his head in her direction.

"Are you simply going to stand there?" was the first thing he asked in a cool yet mildly, playfully seductive tone. "Come. I've been waiting for you."
