"Miss, you seem to be in a delighted mood. Did something nice happen? Is Master Damian coming back sooner than you expected?"

The driver asked as he watched Emily Steinz make a happy face.

It was not often for Emily to show such a naked expression of happiness, so it surprised him. He could not figure out what made his mistress this happy today.

But Damian was not the right person to ask about because he instantly made his mistress's smile disappear. 

"I don't want to talk about that jerk. He'll be back once he's done with his work. Let's not spoil today. It was such a nice day talking about him, alright?"

Emily replied before she adjusted her clothes and put on makeup once more.

If Damian was not the reason behind his lady's behaviour, then there could be only one person it could be - her beta friend none of their staff approved of.
