Rika felt safe with Damian in the room. 

She wanted to feel safe with the second alpha at the door, but her heart continued thundering in her chest, and Rika felt even more nervous.

Something about the way Damian looked at her sent shivers down Rika's spine.

"I-It's fine, Damian! Nothing happened between me and R-Rika. Y-You can take over now-"

A cold glare looked at Rika's way, hitting her breath. That cold look had another emotion mixed in it that Rika did not expect—lust.

Silver eyes looked Rika up and down, and it suddenly hit her just how exposed she looked at that moment.
