Mu Tianye lifted his face from the screen and immediately saw Ning Xiaofei's little head peeking in from the door, flashing a radiant smile at him.
"Honey, time for soup!"
What, trying to get on his good side again?
She could cook?
Mu Tianye was somewhat skeptical, but he still rose from his chair.
"Okay."
After working a whole evening, he really was a bit hungry. He'd go and see what this girl's cooking was like.
Seeing him stand, Ning Xiaofei immediately turned and went back to the dining area, only to remember that the strawberries she had washed were still on the counter. She promptly went into the kitchen to get them.
Mu Tianye entered the dining room and saw two bowls on the table.
One bowl contained a light brown soup, the other was filled with steaming hot udon noodles.
The egg was fried just right; it looked to be his favorite degree of doneness, about 80 percent. The vibrant green onion strips decorated on top of the noodles made it all the more appetizing.
