As Deidara's voice fell, the explosive clay he released detonated.
Huge rubble fell as the cave's dome was blown open, allowing a large beam of sunlight to shine in.
The giant clay bird beneath Deidara spread its wings and soared high, with Gaara's body held in its beak.

He aimed at both Deidara's bird and Sasori who remained standing there.

"Watch out for the explosion!" Kakashi quickly shielded Naruto and Temari behind him, activating his Sharingan just in case.
"Damn you, Deidara! I'm still here!" Sasori cursed angrily as Hiruko curled into a ball.
Colt frowned slightly.
As expected, the Akatsuki members all had tricks up their sleeves.

Hiruko's mechanism opened and Sasori's body emerged. At this point, Hiruko could no longer provide him with any sense of security.
Wearing the Akatsuki's signature cloak, with cherry blossom-colored hair and a handsome face devoid of expression - who would have thought that Sasori, who had become famous more than a decade ago, still looked like a teenager?
