Rose welcomed the compliment but she knew she was yet to have a mouth like Zayne. Zayne was good at silencing others quickly because he could do what he threatened them with and they already feared him. Rose had to work her way up which would mean attending more parties to show her personality but she didn't want to do that. 

"She will not be the last you face. There will be other young women, whether with status or not, who will try to seduce him. Some have no shame since they are after money and status. Others will try to mock you because they are jealous of who you are married to. They can't hide their feelings for long so you will know who to avoid," said Catherine.

"I enjoy the few friends that I have now. I do not need many more at the moment but I want to attend more balls in the future. I have always been curious about what they were like and I only attended one before this one. We should attend parties of the people you like," Rose told Zayne.
