2 of them have died, but the remaining 5 swordsmen aren't backing off from the fight. They continue to attack Zoro with more caution now because he has exceeded their expectations all the time.
None of them want to be the next one to be killed, so they need to kill him first. But that certainly will be difficult because Zoro is much stronger than each of them, at least physically, and he has much better battle skills than they thought.
As if to prove that, Zoro pushes all of them back just with a swing of Enma. He creates a big energy blade using Enma to push them back when they attack him together.
They try to resist it, but the energy blade is really strong and they are pushed back with their blades stopping the energy blade from hitting them.
Zoro chases after them. He runs behind his energy blade while preparing an attack. His next target is Fuguki the Samehada user. He wants to avoid getting his chakra eaten by Samehada again.
When his energy blade gets destroyed by the joint effort of the 5 swordsmen, Zoro already arrives in front of Fuguki too. The swords in his hands are being spun like a wheel as he runs toward Fuguki.
"Three Sword Style Secret Skill: Three Thousand Worlds!" (Santoryu Ogi: Sanzen Sekai!)
Zoro slashes Fuguki with 3 swords imbued with Haki at once. The power behind the slash is very powerful and it caused great damage because of Zoro's power and the advanced haki.
Fuguki has tried to block it with Samehada, but Zoro stuns him using a weak Conqueror Haki which is enough to terrify him a little and makes him stop for a second. So Fuguki's fat body gets sliced in half by that technique.
"3 out."
The remaining 4 swordsmen finally start getting scared of Zoro now. They never thought the kid they underestimated could kill 3 of them without being gravely injured.
When they are hesitating whether to attack him again or not, the man who uses the axe and hammer charges toward Zoro while spinning his axe by holding the chain that connects the axe and hammer.
He throws the big axe at Zoro as strong as he can without any fear even after seeing 3 of his comrades die. It surprises him, but he is a veteran and death is normal for shinobi like them.
Missions are the most important for almost all shinobi. For them, their comrades' lives and even their lives are less important than the success of their missions.
Those who value their lives more, fail in their missions or abandon their missions will be labeled as failure and incompetent like Kakashi's father. A lot of them are even labeled as traitors if their missions are very important and many of them are forced to run away when they fail their missions.
Some of them weren't even betraying their villages and countries, yet their lives are wanted. Zoro never goes after these kinds of "criminals" and always goes for the ones who truly did things that he judged as wrong based on his standards.
That's why for him, although these 7 swordsmen aren't wanted by their village, they are still scums worthy of being killed by his swords. They are infamous for being utterly cruel and won't even spare civilians including children on whims.
Zoro won't say he is a righteous person who likes to uphold justice. He won't chase them on his own initiative normally because he won't get any reward as they aren't wanted.
But they came after his life, so he will not spare them. He is just a selfish man who values his life rather than someone righteous. It's just that killing these guys while thinking that they are just filth that dirty this world really makes him feel better.
Anyway, Zoro blocks the big axe by crossing the swords in his hands and he also uses the sword in his mouth to push them, stopping the big axe from cutting him in half.
The hammer-axe user arrives before the axe falls and slams his hammer onto the axe, sending another powerful blow toward Zoro.
Zoro who is unmoved by the axe throw now being pushed back by the hammer smash. But his swords are still firm, blocking the axe that seems to stick onto his swords.
After being pushed back, Zoro sees the man is still charging towards him. The mist that has disappeared for a while also suddenly appears again and it's still as thick as before.
Zoro can sense the man is still rushing toward him while the other 3 also start making their moves. Unexpectedly, one of them is actually trying to run away when the other 2 are moving far to his left and right.
He assumes the other guy is not running away in his own initiative, but it's a plan or agreement they've discussed prior to this. Either it's to fool him or he needs to return to their village to make reports of his real power.
"As if I'll let you do that. Torao!"
"Aye, Captain!"
A small shadow suddenly gets separated from Zoro's shadow. It moves really fast towards the man who runs away. Meanwhile, Zoro is still focusing on the 3 who are running to attack him.
He waits until they get very close to him before using his "Three Sword Style: Purgatory Ogre Cutter!" at the man who uses the Hammer-Axe and attacks him from the front.
Zoro makes his attack just right before their weapons hit him, so they didn't expect his attack at all and aren't ready for what comes next.
The Hammer-Axe man gets slashed, receiving a deep cross cut wound on his body. As for the other 2, the big needle sword user and Kubikiribocho user, they almost hit each other with their swords.
"So the one running away is the exploding sword user huh?"
Zoro who stops behind the Hammer-Axe man quickly turns around and swings his sword horizontally. He cuts the man's neck from behind because the deep cut wound hasn't killed him yet, so Zoro cuts his neck to finish him.
But Zoro doesn't stop and uses his "Three Sword Style: 1080 Pound Cannon!" toward the big needle sword user. A big spiral sword energy bullet flies very fast toward the man who is almost late at realizing the attack because of his own mist.
He blocks the spiral energy bullet with his thin sword. But it's so strong that it makes him fly back and crashes onto trees.
The Kubikiribocho user is very surprised because everything happens so fast. He is so surprised that he doesn't realize Zoro has approached him almost instantly.
Luckily, he realizes it on time and jumps back to avoid Zoro's sword. Unfortunately, Zoro is prepared for this scenario and has prepared a plan too.
Zoro coats his swords with Wind Chakra and swings the swords in his hands horizontally. He creates 2 horizontal sword energy blades that fly side by side toward the Kubikiribocho user.
They fly so fast, much faster than the man's running speed because of the Wind Chakra, so they catch up to him quickly. Now he doesn't have any choice but to block them.
Unfortunately, being a sword that can regenerate itself means that Kubikiribocho is not as hard and durable as the other swords. It gets damaged easier than the others, that's why it even needs to regenerate itself.
If not, then it won't get cut in half a few times in the series. Well, it's still as hard as high quality normal swords, but it's not as durable as the other 6 mystical swords.
So Zoro's energy blades that have become much sharper and powerful thanks to his Wind Chakra and Advanced Haki manage to cut Kubikiribocho quite easily.
The man widens his eyes as the pair of energy blades cuts his body after cutting Kubikiribocho. His eyes are full of disbelief as he loses his life with his body being cut into a few parts.
Zoro quickly chases after the needle sword user who is trying to run away after 5 of his comrades die. But he can't run that fast because quite a lot of his bones crack just now when he crashes onto trees and boulders.
"Don't you think it's quite late for you to think of running away now?"
Zoro suddenly appears behind the man, surprising him so much. He tries to jump away, but a pair of swords have pierced his chest from behind, so he can't move away.
"D-damn!" He curses for the last time before falling lifelessly to the ground.
Soon afterwards, Torao returns with the escaping explosive sword user. His arms have been severed by Torao's claw and his sword has been stored in Torao's subspace storage, but he hasn't died yet.
Zoro wanted to interrogate him, but unexpectedly, the man actually activated a seal in his body that could kill him instantly. He activated it while Torao dragged him here because he knows Zoro will kill him no matter what after sensing that all of his comrades have died, so he committed suicide.
"Well, that's a bummer." Luckily, his questions aren't that important, so Zoro doesn't really care if all of this man dies. Though now Zoro will be someone wanted by Kirigakure, which he doesn't care too.
