“You need me, or you need some fun? A quick fuck perhaps?” she asked. I didn’t blame her. I couldn’t even believe myself I said that.

Stella didn’t say anything as I stood still, knowing there was no chance. She pulled out of my touch and scoffed.

“I really thought you are different. I guess I was an idiot and stupid for believing in your lies, huh?” she looked at me with eyes filled with tears and stared at me with so much hate in her eyes. “Go back to your soon-to-be wife and don’t ever bother me again!”

She turned and walked away, shoulders drooped, head hung low.

She was hurt. She was hurt in the most horrible pain and every bone in my body shattered as tears stung my eyes and I felt like the worst person in the world.
