I opened my eyes and I knew she was still lying here beside me because of her sweet vanilla and lavender scent that lingered inside my nostrils, my sweet little jagiya who was curled up against my chest, sleeping next to me and a soft snore coming out from her red pouty lips.

I’ve never felt so vulnerable in my entire life until I met Ashley, my best friend and best enemy’s beautiful sister. Not once had anyone had control over me, and I loved it. This was new to me but I was starting to absorb it, starting to like it.

This warmth in my chest was something so foreign that I was a little skeptical as to if it was normal at first. Love. Damn that word that meant such little to me after what Jasmine and Lucas did to me. She was my first love but she destroyed me. She broke me. I was so sure, so fucking sure that there was no such thing as love anymore after her, after Jasmine. That it was all a make believe and that no matter what you do, it would never last.
