I stared at him. I couldn’t believe I heard what he just said. We’re not going back to stage 1 again. Not today Uno!

“Uno, what you did back there, it was you! You lost your self-control, you were you. That is how you truly are. You have dominance and aggression in which you hide behind those whole façade of being this shy, innocent little nerd.” I rambled, resisting the urge to grab onto his hand across the table.

“B-but I have a reason for all of t-these.”

“No matter what your reasons are, you are what you do when you lose control. That’s what you really are. I fucking love that side of you because this whole nerdy shy shit ain’t you. I want you to be the Uno the first time I met you, when you were talking to Thomas.”

Uno’s gaze snapped to mine and he blushed once again. I didn’t mean to tell him to change his personality but I want him to be the person he is.

“Say something.” I ordered softly.
