YOO-MI’s POV

“Vernon is my husband.”

“What?” my eyes widened in horror while looking at Yeri to Vernon then back at Yeri. I can’t believe she did this to Josh.

“I’m sorry Yoo-Mi but when Brittany showed me pictures of Vernon and another woman together, I left him in Daegu and moved here in Seoul.” Tears creeped up in the corner of her eyes while explaining everything to me.

“Brittany?” I asked, surprised. “How the hell does Brittany’s name got involve here?”

I felt shock coursed through me like a punch in the gut, stealing my breath in one forceful slam. I could hear Yeri saying something but I couldn’t make out anything through the frantic swirl of thoughts as my brain struggled to piece together a story that made more sense than the ridiculous notion that Brittany was somehow involved in all of this.

Brittany again! When will she stop ruining my life, it was already ruined and Jeonghan already left me. What else does she want?
