A pony-sized beast slowly moved towards a river. This beast was similar to a jaguar, apart from the fact that it was much bigger and its fur was a mix of purple with pale blue spots.

The beast looked around with its cold and sharp pale blue eyes before it left its cover and reached the riverbank.

It once again listened closely for any odd sounds but, once again, heard nothing unusual, so it finally lowered its guard as it lowered its head and began lapping up water to quench its thirst.

Nearby, high in a tree, a pair of sharp, hazel eyes focused on the beast as the bow in her hands bent to look like a crescent moon before she released the string with a twang sound.

The arrow shot through the air at unimaginable speed and dug itself into the right front leg of the beast, immediately crippling that leg.

The beast roared in pain and anger as it threw its head back, trying to determine where that shot came from.
