Ciara's POV

The next morning, I woke up early, unsure of what to do. After much thought about my life, I brushed my teeth and went downstairs.

Ariana was making breakfast, humming along to the blasting music and twirling her hips in a cheerful mood.

Trudging further, I noticed Vulcan at the dining area, engrossed in some documents in front of him. His glasses and the seriousness on his face made him appear more attractive.

His jaw drew open as he parted his lips, sliding the pen cap between them in thought. Memories of his kisses momentarily flooded my mind.

He wouldn't be so bad if he wasn't a womanizer. Unsure of what to do, I greeted him, but was met with silence. When I approached Ariana to try to help her or at least make something for myself, she glared at me with a death stare, so I moved aside. After leaning on the counter for a while, I went back upstairs and took a shower before formally coming downstairs.
