Di Tian frowned. Surely, the dignified Head of the Yi Mercenary Company didn't intentionally do that to secretly snatch the loot for herself, right?

"Maybe the assassins didn't have storage rings on them," he dismissed the thought from his mind and stooping to retrieve the storage ring on the guy's finger.

Now that Di Tian was a Foundation Establishment cultivator and had qi, unlocking a storage ring was very easy. As it wasn't a lifebound storage ring and the owner that previously refined it was dead, Di Tian was able to gain access to its internal storage quite easily.
