章節 39: When it rains, it pours

She opened her eyes and the first thing she saw was Farah's smiling face as she smiled down at her.

They were in what looked like a forest with an airy atmosphere. By the blazing sun, it seemed to be midafternoon.

Sitting atop a fallen branch to the left of her was Gal, still as grumpy as ever. The low cut woman was berating a laughing Sophiet who had red rouge painted all over her face. The youngest ran around the brooding woman in childlike glee and at interval she would attempt to get the rouge on Gal's face.

They were all laughing, and like a disease she too also felt her mouth curving upwards to partake in their happiness. 'So they had indeed survived?' she thought. All that blood spilling had just been a passing nightmare. None of it were true.

Her sisters, they were all here with her, hearty and alive. Verona burst into tears, and no matter how much she tried to stop crying, her eyes just kept watering.
