That was Virtya's plan for Ugley kingdom. Even if there was no iron deposits anywhere in Azuhai, that didn't mean that Virtya was helpless, he would control all the iron mines in the Southern continent once he connect the whole of the southern continent with his steam locomotives, yes. Virtya would not be satisfied with just controlling the iron mines in Ugley.
Ugley would simply be his starting point. His main aim was to colonize the whole of the Southern continent including the neighbouring Litkesh kingdom. It was not just the Southern continent that Virtya was aiming for but the entire world, he wanted all the minerals to head to Azuhai kingdom.
One should know that it was not that Virtya wanted to rule the entire world, no, that was not his aim. Virtya was only interested in the minerals which Azuhai kingdom lacked.
In exchange, Virtya would give those kingdoms that he invaded a part of his inventions. However, it should be noted that Virtya would not simply give out his inventions easily. Virtya was a business man and instead of giving away his inventions, he would be investing in those kingdoms like building his own cement plant in Ugley kingdom, yes, the Ugley people would think that the cement plant was theirs but the money gotten after the sell of cement from a plant in Ugley would be going into Virtya's pockets while he would only be needed to give them a small share as tax.
With technology, Virtya planned to be the richest and the most powerful man in this world. He would control this world the way he liked and everything and everyone would bow to him.
However, will Virtya achieve his dreams?

Using two pulleys, the two ends of the axle of the turbine was tied and then the turbine was let down slowly by slowly but the workers didn't allow the turbine to touch the ground, lest the blades that touched the ground tilt because of being overwhelmed by the general weight of the turbine.
Beside the pulleys that were holding the turbine in place, a huge wagon that almost resemble the frame of a boat could be seen.
This wagon was specifically made in that it had huge wooden wheels with a diameter of about 2 metres. The surface of the wheels that touched the ground was almost a metre wide. In addition, this surface was fitted with rows of narrow logs so that it didn't get hampered by the muddy terrain.
The wagon itself was 5 metres long and three metres high.
However, pulling this huge wagon forward was a problem. Just bringing the empty wagon closer to the warehouse required the service of a hundred workers because the terrain was muddy which made the movement of the wagon a difficulty.
One should know that at this site, wagons like this one dominated because they were being used to move loads from the Eastern part of Pollow to the west where the cement plant was.
"I will not be spending another night here today. I want to go back to the blacksmith guild to see the progress of the cannon making." Virtya said to Tanya who was beside him.
On this day, Virtya was only viewing what the workers were doing, he was not going to mingle with them. He had allowed a foremen to order the workers around and ensure that the turbine was installed.
Slowly by slowly, the pulleys let down the turbine as the workers pulled it sideways so that it lain onto the holder inside the wagon.
Though it was tricky, the workers managed to put the turbine into the wagon at last.
"Push the wagon forward while the rest would be pulling it by using the tugging ropes." The foreman hollered and the workers quickly worked.
The terrain was muddy and slippery, not to mention the bushes here and there. This made it hard for the wagon to move forward which took a lot of time to make a little progress.
The workers doing the pushing and pulling were many but they were helpless because of the unfavorable terrain.
The wheels of the wagon got stuck in the mud while they threatened to break apart. The workers had been needed to replace the wheels of this wagon many times because most of the wheels couldn't hold it anymore and they shatter or beak apart.
The wagon would sometimes be impended by a protruding rock or the ditches which were many around the swampy terrain thus, the workers walked with hoes and spades which they used to repair the path where the wagon would pass.
After four hours, the wagon reached at the makeshift bridge and here, the workers could only rub the back of their heads because the wide wagon could not move on top of this narrow bridge, not to mention that the wagon was so heavy and it might break the whole bridge which would make the work of the workers even more difficult. The wagon could be left to be carried away by the powerful river towards the waterfall but the turbine was expensive and Virtya could not accept it to be lost in the river.
The next chapters will be finalizing the cement plant.
