"Had to check in to make sure you were alive," His friend was saying.

Caspian pouted, "Hardly. Asher wouldn't even let me stay in the same room as him."

Lake was too slow to catch his snicker, "I'm sorry. How is Asher now?"

"His fever has broken but he still won't let me in the room," He complained.

"Tell him you're coming to pay me a visit," Lake was quick to cook up some more bad advice.

"That could work," Caspian said reluctantly, warming up to another one of his friend's questionable suggestions. "Were you able to go shopping?"

"Yeah, I went with Davian… and you've got to see the outfit we settled on… hold on…" There was a break in the conversation then like Lake was talking to someone else.

"I'm sorry, Caspian, I've got to go, I'll call you later."

Caspian rose to his feet when the call dropped, relieved that Lake was able to find an outfit he liked.
