Lake did get his hot chocolate, joining Davian at the Alpha's study after they had dinner so they could straighten some more files out and reroute the calls to the newly hired secretaries.

Lake headed straight for the bathroom as soon as he got to his room, he had such a fulfilling day, and it was all thanks to Davian.

He stepped out of the bathroom in a robe to find Davian standing right at the connecting door, making him raise a brow.

"I wanted to say goodnight," He murmured, reluctantly taking a step back.

"Are you going to come to my room tonight?" Lake asked before he could leave.

Davian avoided his eyes, his sheepish expression a clear answer to his question.

"Then you might as well just come right now," Lake said with laughter in his voice, picking up a pillow.

He didn't like Davian sleeping on the ground till he noticed him, no matter how comfortable Caspian claimed the carpeting to be.
