"I'll send her to the CEO's office once I finish the formal interview," Nova assured. She raised her brow teasingly at Winter and said, "Ah, newlyweds, they really can't stay away from each other for too long. You should go now, Winter. I know you miss Mr. Saenz."

Winter tried her best not to show any bitterness in front of Nova. She excused herself and left Nova's office. 

Cindy's eyes followed Winter's back until she left the room. Once Winter was gone, she asked Nova, "Ma'am, I wonder what kind of person Mr. Saenz is."

"Why would you ask? You should have seen him at their wedding, right?" Nova asked back. 

"W—Well, I was hospitalized a few days ago, so I couldn't attend the wedding," Cindy lied. "I'm just curious. Since I haven't met him in real life, I'm wondering if he has been kind to my sister."
