Sam and the rest appeared in Alphacrest mansion. They were standing close to the gate, which was already wide open, and the place was as bright as daytime, even brighter than daytime. 

"Leave the old man to me"

Sam said as he casually entered the compound. Liam and Josh disappeared once more. The instructions from Klaus was to clear the whole mansion,  meaning they were to kill all the enemies. Klaus simply didn't want to be disturbed.

Sam approached the entrance of the mansion, they came when master Marshall felt Klaus' life energy had dropped significantly. They later discovered that Klaus had sealed his dragon energy, which caused him to lose more than half of his power.
