Delinda twisted her wrist to have a look at her watch. It was noon and there was no sign of Marissa yet.
Being a head, she should be here by now. Such a careless prick she is!
Shang Chi watched her and then lowered his eyes where she was moving her legs frantically, "You look nervous, Del."
She fidgeted absent-mindedly, "Huh?"
"I said you look nervous. What is it?" Delinda shook her head and leaned over her laptop that was provided by the office.
"Hey. I know, your relationship with Marissa has been quite strained lately. You might have some solid reasons, but don't forget she is a very generous person. Anything personal should stay aside."
He pointed out and got back to work. Delinda was only half listening to him. She wanted Marissa to be here as that seat was waiting for its owner.
